Summer is over and the swallows are gathering and things are moving again with the plan! We now have documents form the Housing, Environment, Facilities and Transport groups which will form the basis of our policy options and the next phase of consultation. AECOM have started their Heritage and Character assessment for us which should be completed by Christmas. The Parish Council made its submission to the Joint Local Plan consultation which is posted on the Parish Council Website and we look forward to working with the Borough as the plan develops. KNPG will be meeting with the Borough Planning Department in early October and an evening Business drop-in event is in planning. A seminar was held on Monday 11th September by Keele University in which ideas for the next 20 years of the University’s growth and development were discussed with KNPG and a consensus reached. More details will become available in due course.
